Speed Up Your Dialing Speed

You can change the rate of dialing out through your modem.  To do this you
set the S11 register.  This register is set by S11=n, where n is the desired
new dialing speed in milliseconds.  Default value is 95.

Steps:
Open the Control Panel
Choose Modems
Click Properties
Click on the Connection Tab
Click the Advanced Button
In the "Extra Settings" Box, type S11=40*
